Hi, I'm Ben

…the human behind Nightbirdsevolve Software. I'm an indie developer with a passion for all things Music & Tech, currently living in beautiful Strasbourg, France.

I've begun writing software for web agencies in 2010, and slowly evolved to freelance consulting, focusing on Apple platforms, specifically the Mac 🖥✨

In summer of 2013, I decided to try my hand at building a good-enough music metadata editor, thus giving birth to Meta for Mac.

Meta was later given quite positive and encouraging reviews, notably on MacStories.net, and got featured in print in the french weekly 'zine VVMac.
I continue to improve and support its development to this day.

While making software is a big part of my life, other endeavours include playing drums, making electronic music, baking sourdough bread, and outdoors climbing, to name a few.
